New Book: Evidences of Christianity - VOLUME ONE - John William McGarvey
This file represents VOLUME ONE of J.W. McGarvey's Book "Evidences of Christianity.
Actually, there are two Volumes in this Great Work.
Volume One treats the Integrity of the New Testament Text, and the Genuineness of the New Testament Books.
Volume Two of this profound Work makes a detailed examination of the Books of the New Testament.
Part Three of Volume Two delves into Credibility of the New Testament Books and
Part Four handles the Inspiration of the New Testament Books.
Together these two Volumes comprise over 420 pages. I searched Logos AND...couldn't find
this one on the LOGOS website. While you are trying this volume out, I will be working on
Volume Two and hope to have it posted sometime next week. HERE IT IS....
EVIDENCES OF CHRISTIANITY - VOLUME ONE - J.W. McGarvey.docx
Here is the Cover for this Volume (and for VOLUME TWO).......
This one was difficult in one respect: There are a ton of Footnotes throughout the First Volume.
One chapter has 102 footnotes., Had to do each footnote manually...as in copying from the
.PDF file into WORD. I have included the footnotes for each chapter at the end of each chapter.
In the .PDF Version (from https://icotb.org ) some footnotes are all mixed up and are spread out
over more than one page. Myapologies if I made any errors. Editing nearly 900 footnotes just in
this one volume alone was almost enough to make me thrown in the towel. VOLUME TWO shouldn't
be so difficult, since it only has a fraction of the number of footnotes found in VOLUME ONE.
Here is the Link for the .PDF Version below....It has both volumes ONE and TWO in the .PDF.

Have fun and enjoy this great work! My apologies if it is already available, but I searched far and Wide,
and High and Low on the LOGOS site, and I couldn't find this one. Thought it was definitely one
worth having and sharing. McGarvey really "Shines" on this one!!! The only thing I left out of this one
was the "INDEX" at the end of VOLUME ONE. If you need t see the INDEX, then take a look at the
.PDF file above.
