Good question. I was under the impression it would take 3-4 days. But it’s been longer.

It was delayed based on the requirements mentioned in these forums after implementation was scheduled. So, it is back for broader beta testing. I've not really kept tabs on it once I tested what I needed to know for personal use.

Hello Friends,
We're just as excited as you are as we get closer to launching the newest version to our online community, but we are going to delay a bit longer. (Not too long, don't worry) We've been working hard, but after seeing so many great questions and ideas, we'd like to open the door to more users and feedback in hopes to make the space even better at launch.
We cannot swing the doors wide open just yet, but we would like more users. Do you want to be considered for an invite? Fill out the following short form and we will be in touch with as many invites as we can accommodate.
As always, thank you for being a part of our community. It would be nothing without you!
Interested? Fill out the following short form: https://forms.gle/8dPP4dSsSP8BaxZb6
I filled out the form, not sure when. I have not been invited. Is there still testing going on? I would really like to be invited to test if testing is still happening (pretty please...).

Correct! We are almost finished building a new beta space, and I cannot wait to invite our pool of users to hear feedback given how far we've come with this project. Many from our team on this have been dividing their time elsewhere (ahem, https://www.logos.com/future-of-logos) so I really appreciate your patience here. Again, we cannot wait to share!
Have a great weekend!

I'm glad to hear it hasn't opened. I thought I had been rejected and that my self-image as a pretty helpful beta tester was going to be wrecked 🤣

So relieved! I was trying not to secretly feel rejected, despised, a man or sorrows, unworthy. Today, we have a spark of hope!

Hello Jason
I have other issues.
1. Currently often the line breaks (hit enter) are skipped if the post is live. I had this a few times lastly.
2. A better system for links. Sometimes the links are not recognized if not one or more space are after the links.
3. Auto-refresh of the website.
4. Sometimes not all is displayed.
5. A better Amber. https://community.logos.com/forums/p/226289/1323057.aspx#1323057 There is no working help files. No real instructions, how to put then the link in the post. And some other issues.
Thanks for your attention.

Received! I am not sure that we will be able to address the auto-refresh (while it may be possible, it would require a website refresh every second and that may be a bit much), but I believe the other items here should all be addressed. Thank you so much.

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re only weeks away from unveiling the brand-new Logos Community! After gathering invaluable feedback from our amazing beta testers and staff, we’re are making the final tweaks to ensure this platform is tailored to your needs.
Mark your calendars for November 18! On that date, we’ll be migrating all existing data and content from community.logos.com, feedback.logos.com, and wiki.logos.com to our new community platform, which will live here at community.logos.com. There will be a brief downtime as we make the switch, but once live, you’ll be welcomed into a fresh, intuitive, and engaging space designed for your growth in the Word and connection with other users from around the globe.
Thank you for being part of this journey! We’re counting down the days to the launch of your new community home.

Over the years, I have bookmarked various forum threads that I wanted saved and refer back to from time to time. Will those bookmarked links remain the same? How will I be able to locate those threads? Do I need to do anything to save those threads before the migration?

Should the direct links not work anymore, you could always try and enter the address here, usually the threads will be archived: https://web.archive.org/

If you bookmarked those in your browser, you will still be able to access those. We will be setting redirects so that everything is still accessible on the new site.
If you bookmarked them to your forums profile (as a Favorite), we are doing everything that we can and hoping to have Favorites migrated to your new platform profile (but we cannot guarantee that). There is a lot to move; and small bits may be lost here and there. Our tests have been successful in moving Favorites from the old platform to the new; but I'm trying to remain transparent.Sr. Community Manager at Logos.

I can't Search (from Home) on Tags or Categories. As Tags can be used to filter a forum, Search should also have that capability (and likewise for Categories).
For accessibility, consider having Search as a Menu item

Great feedback. It does require an additional click, let's try adding it to the Quicklinks.
Users can also click "Search" to access the Search page.

Advanced Search should be obvious, not provided in a non-intutitive way by clicking the Search button.
Quick Links is not obvious either as "Search posts" should be upfront.Dave

Quick Links is not obvious either as "Search posts" should be upfront.A link to advanced search could be provided as a top menu item, but in that case I would like to see the search icon in the upper right corner go away. No need to be excessive.

The current forum site is nearly unusable on a phone. There is no provision to increase the font size and make the message box wrap to fit the display area.

I mentioned this before.
The AA button doesn't increase the font alone. It increases the whole "page".

Hello Jason
I would love if I switch between the "oldest", "newest" and the 3rd one. If it automatically does update the site. Currently we have then always to run the search again.
Other Forum software has this.
BTW maybe a more sophisticated time would be great. "Last Year" = always a until a year back. "In" and a time span, means for example between 2019 and 2022.
Thanks
Fabian

Just a reminder that November 18 is the big day for our migration! We’ll be moving all data and content from community.logos.com, feedback.logos.com, and wiki.logos.com over to the new platform at the same website, community.logos.com. During this process, there will be some brief downtime, up to a few days, but it won’t be long before we open the doors to an enhanced, user-friendly space designed to foster deeper connections and support your journey in the Word.
Thank you for your patience, and we can’t wait for you to experience your new community home!

Not right now, but it would make sense. It's a filter not a new search.

Strange behavior of the actual Forum
If I click on a name in Author
I get the info of the author there.
But if I click on the author here
I get your image. Possible your email.
But I get my About, Groups ...
But interestingly nothing I see if I click on my profile. So the red one should be visible if I go on my profile, not on yours. Or mine on my, and yours on your.

From my understanding, it's all about the privacy settings in Faithlife. And, Jason is a Logos employee...

Hello Jonathan
I have the same behavior if I click on your name. I get different sites, depending on from where I click on your name.

Oh, I was thinking you were mentioning something about his email address. My bad.
The forums used to have a different profile setting than Logos/Faithlife. Then, at some point in history (I don't know when), they brought the profile section from the forums and merged it with Faithlife. When you get the Faithlife profile, that is the user's actual profile. When you get the other one, that looks more like the forum, it is primarily just a way to see their forum interactions.

It is just one person's opinion, but the search for me in the beta has been night and day better compared to the search in the old forums. The search in these old forums is so bad that I do not use it and instead rely on Google for searching. I have stopped using Google and use the search in the beta exclusively now. Excited to see it coming to production next week!
