Please allow us to import sermons from Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc. one at a time or in bulk and convert them into Logos sermon documents.

Yes! Without the ability to import historical documents this reduces the utility of the sermon manager

Great suggestion. With 25+ years of sermons I've been waiting for this.
  • Couldn't agree more! Logos already offers the option to convert a .docx file into a Personal Book, so being able to create a Sermon should be just as simple. Bulk import would be a massive plus!

For those with many messages on file, it would be invaluable to be able to import them directly into the Logos 9 Sermon Manager!
  • Please do this it will be very helpful! Also, allow to use Apple Pencil are any other electronic pencil to scribble on logos!

    Yes, Pages please!
  • 100% yes
  • Without this import feature I wouldn't want to use the Sermon Manager. I have many years of sermons in a system in Word. If I can't easily use in Logos what I have already written, then I wouldn't start using Logos for this.

Also there should be an export feature into at least a few common file types. That would make Logos much more helpful.
  • I really like the idea of combining past sermons and future sermons into one application. However, as others have indicated, the inability to import many years of past sermons in a clean and simple way really puts me off using the Sermon Manager. For the time being I'll continue to save my sermons and Word documents and search them via tags.

Absolutely, the XML framework should allow for this.

I was about to post this as a suggestion. Being able to perform a search that will include previous sermons would be a great feature.

I would be so much more inclined to build a sermon library in Logos (and enjoy the benefits that would come with that) if there was a simple import / export tool like what is described here. PLEASE make it happen! :)
  • This would be a fantastic addition - I've got several years of sermons in Ulysees - so being able to import Markdown files or Epub into the Sermon Manager would be awesome
  • AWESOME IDEA! I've been trying to figure out how to do this with personal books that are searchable in Passage Guide, but no sermon option for file. Thrilled to see this is planned!
  • I'm new to Logos and interested in using Sermon Manager. But I have 25+ years of sermons in my digital files, and it doesn't make sense for me to manage 2 filing systems.
