Folders for Notebooks

Agree. With one notebook per sermon, it’s getting a bit unwieldy. Like the folder paradigm including with unlimited nested folders.0

Yes, please. It would greatly improve my use of the Notebook feature if I could better organize it.0

Great Idea I support it completely.0

This would be wonderful!0

I would so love this feature. It's the only way to keep your notes structured and organized. The one option you have now is to work with Tags.0

I agree that a folder/subfolder system is essential.0

In my opinion, in L10 the favorites tool is very helpful to organize notebooks in folders. It seems to me that the question for folders in the notes tool is less relevant than it was before L10 was launched.
However, I agree with the question. I experience the mess of notebooks not in the notes tool, but under the visual filters button. There appears an endless list of notebooks in the section "notes and highlights". And when I like to see only the highlights of one notebook, I have to turn them off all (but one) manually. I think this feature requires more than just adding folders to the notes tool, but also a good implementation of this at other places in L10. Notebooks are not only in the note tool!0 -
Subfolders in Notes please. Also cross reference within Notes. (i.e. - Notes linked with each other).
Cannot work out what ANCHOR within Notes is used for?? Can anyone please explain. Thanks.0 -
Yes I vote for a major upgrade in NOTES. It is very rudimentary currently and has the potential to be powerful. Make it similar to NOTION.0

Please upgrade this outdated note feature.0

I like the notes feature and use it daily. I don't like the way notes work now, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Subfolders may work, but doesn't that create more confusion and dislocation of a note? I know it needs to be fixed. Maybe something like markdown language that Obsidian uses?0

Yes... 1000%0

Although I sympathize with everyone wanting this feature, I will say that even though I have a ton of notes personally I have found more than enough organization available with the use of tags. It's like having two types of categorization, two layers that don't necessarily nest allowing more capable organization in my opinion.0

I would love to see this0

Notes need help. I like the idea of nesting notebooks. I use Obsidian as well. I'm not really sure how, but there needs to be a way to connect stuff together other than linking.0
-
100% agree. Need subfolders0
-
Sub-folders are always a good idea. Breaking a study on Judges, say, into logical components like chapters and/or a specific judge will, at the very least, speed up the search and note retrieval process.0
-
Also allow folders and sub folders to be moved around in sequence and nesting levels.

I concur with just about all these ideas about merging and/or creating a "main folder notebook" to add the notebooks under, thus creating a simpler way of organizing your notebooks.0
-
Yes, I like this idea. It makes for a more detailed organization of the notebooks.0

I have had to develop a rather elaborate system of prefixes to try to organize the notes in an attempt to keep related studies together in the the list. (Ex. BS for bible study, TS for topical study, GWS for Greek word study, etc. The ability to locate related topics and studies using sub-folders would be a great improvement in the being able to organize my studies and papers.0
-
That would greatly improve note organization0

Exactly!!!! This is would be a great way to add function to the notes section. I create a notebook for every sermon and every pericope as I work consecutively through a book. As a result, it takes me a long time to scroll through my notebooks to find the right one. Please add this feature!!!0
