Please add read aloud / text-to-speech support so we can listen to our resources and have them read to us on the mobile app like we can on the desktop app.

YES!!! I want the Logos Mobile app to be able to read any scripture or book in the Logos Library so I can listen to it while I am driving, sitting in my office or relaxing on the back porch. The mobile app REALLY needs this ability. This provides access to books for the blind, those with other sight disabilities as well as those who may simply want to relax and listen to Christian literature.
  • This is a must.

I agree the you version Bible app updated to have this capability. I have learning disabilities this would help with
  • I too miss this. My workaround has been exporting as much as I can as a web page, then importing said webpage into a program that features tts. Currently using eReader Prestigo.

Yes, yes, please PLEASE improve the Read Aloud feature!! In addition to the above, please:
    4. Allow more speed options (e.g. speed slider)
    5. Make it more reliable, better tested (e.g. don't pause at awkward places, don't stop suddenly)
    6. Make "Show word by word indicator" (aka "Karaoke dancing dot") work for human narrator as well as system narrator, PLEASE!!

This would be a fantastic update and would be a significant step-up for the mobile app. I realize there are additional complexities given that so many of the logos resources are multilingual. None of the available built-in text to speech options on mobile apps really know what to do with accents in ancient Greek (they mostly just skip or mispronounce, making the TTS essentially unusable for many of the resources) and I'm hoping that this would end up finally being the one TTS that overcomes this issue.
  • Yes. Please. I would use the app so much more if it had an option to read books aloud to you. This would be great
  • Yes, please! This auditory learner and seminarian would benefit greatly from it!

Not sure how much this is being monitored, but since this project appears to be moving forward (though I wish we had a rough timeline on it), I should probably add to my above comment for anyone who is involved in designing the TTS updates on mobile, especially if they plan on taking into account the multilingual resources offered through Logos. As mentioned, there is no text to speech, on any platform, that seems to know what to do with accents in ancient Greek, leading to garbled and spotty pronunciation (though Hebrew tends to be handled well), and most language detection is extremely glitchy. Speak screen on IOS, for example, tends to switch to a Greek voice as soon as it detects Greek letters, and then not only ignores or mispronounces most of the letters that have accents on them (would be far better if they just ignored all accents), but also often fails to switch back to an English voice once the English lettering starts again, particularly if there are numbers after the Greek letters. It's clear that the kind of resource offered by Logos is simply not envisioned by IOS designers. If Logos takes such details into account in their design, it will be completely sui generis, offering scholars something that is unmatched anywhere; the ability to study and research in depth in a whole new and much more efficient way. Hope that's helpful;-)
  • Yes please - been hoping for this for a long time
  • This would be a tremendous help to me. I use it on the desktop all the time.

Yes! Please do this ASAP for iOS apps. It would be so helpful!
  • Please add this to mobile version of Logos
  • Would love for this feature to be added so I don’t have to copy and paste my textbooks for college to a program to have it read out loud. I cannot even use speak aloud on iPhone for it to work at how it’s currently set up.
  • this would really be a game-changer for those in ministry, school, exercise, travel, and many other things who read, study prepare lessons, and sermons on the go! this would definitely me to use the mobile app more and be more productive. even if it's available on the web app with immersive readers
