Edit Countdown timer on Pre service loop

It would be nice to add text or change font/colour of the countdown timer (the little black box) in the preservice loop. Even if we can change position and add text like service starts in ect.

  • YES! I would love it if the countdown timer text could be formatted and moved. It would make service start countdowns so easy!
  • I would also love to see this change implemented!

Please make it easier to position the timer in the pre-service loop. Specifically be able to choose left, middle or right as well as the top/bottom location
  • Better yet allow a transparent background clock to be overlaid as a text box that can be moved anywhere we want over any image we want

Couldn't agree more. This would be extremely helpful. We are in our 30 day evaluation period moving from ProPresenter and I love Proclaim so far, but ProPresenter has messages, including a countdown, that are so easy to format, add text, move around, etc.
  • Yes I agree...I would love to feature "We'll be starting in: xx minutes" with the countdown in the middle.
  • Yes. This would be very helpful, as the countdown timer in the corner is harder to see. If it could be moved like a text box, that would be great.
  • The countdown clock is too small. It would be nice if we could make the countdown clock larger, eliminate the black box, and change the font color and type.

I would love to just be able to set the countdown clock at the Pre-Service section level, and not have to add it to each content item in the loop. I know that it can be done by selecting all items, but with the new 'Clone' or 'Clone to Post-Service' option, the slides end up with a 24hr countdown in the post-service loop for the next day...
  • This is the one feature I liked about ProPresenter that Proclaim doesn't have. Please make it a layer above everything that lets us choose font, size, color, and position.   With livestreaming so common this is needed even more now.  It would also allow us to stop using the countdown video in the warm up and customize how we  want it,
  • It would be especially nice to be able to make it go to the right-hand corners, instead of just the left-hand corners.
  • I'd really, really like this. I've tried to customize the look by putting on each slide that has the countdown a text block with a black background that says "Service Starts In." But it'd be so much nicer to customize the overlay rather than having to manually apply that tweak to every pre-service slide (and then remove it in a separate copy of every post-service slide that is otherwise identical).

not just in the preservice loop but all throughout. it would be extremely useful for us who love to set aside time midservice for prayer. We'd be able to show prayer points and have a nice countdown to boot.

@Dean Poirier  I totally agree with this. Should be able to set it at the Pre-Service section level so any additonal slides inherit these settings.
  • Please add this! At the very least, allow us to overlay the existing black and white basic countdown on top of our own images and setting the black and white timer to a "screen" blending mode or something (or honestly whatever you want to call it, that's just what it's called in photoshop and premiere).
  • @Albert Dean Valencia  you can already add countdown videos to your main service feed. Don't remember if you can add text on top of those, but I know you typically can't re-arrange where the timer on the basic timer, or any other video-based countdown, is positioned.

For some reason my new countdown timer works at home on my MacBook Pro, but not at church on the iMac for worship.  Anyone else?
  • This is marked done, but IMO its NOT done...we still can't add words to the countdown timer, only adjust font
