Please add a function to Word List to export into Anki format. That will allow a simple interface to a free and popular flash card study program.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Yes, yes, and yes. 23 votes within a day of being posted seems to indicate some strong support...
Anki is so ubiquitous for language learning (and learning in general) that the ability to export word lists from Logos into Anki format would be of great benefit to students and pastors alike. Indeed, the use of Anki is required at my college and its use forms part of the assessments for my Greek language unit.

This is something very much needed since the planned elimination of the Flashcard App

Using adventure and community to challenge young people to continually say "yes" to God

I teach Greek to high school students with logos, but I make ANKI decks for them weekly. This is so necessary.

    Would be great addition!

xn = Christan man=man -- Acts 11:26 "....and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch".

Barney Fife is my hero! He only uses an abacus with 14 rows!

  • This would be brilliant. Please add this feature

    Please!
  • Don’t know what anki uses, but it should be a general purpose format (like csv), so that you can use the flashcard app of your choice…

Giving an option to chose dictionary and adding strongs numbers as third option would make it even stronger to work with available apps to update their definitions based on the own logos library
  • Yes, I would really appreciate this feature!

Being able to meaningfully access word lists and engage with them on mobile is important. Given their focus on seminary students, I'm surprised that Logos isn't promoting and prioritizing the ability the make flashcards. It seems like such a selling point. If someone would have shown me this feature in Logos while in seminary, I would have been sold on Logos in a heartbeat.

If Logos will not support its own word lists on mobile via the Flashcard app, they should make it easy to export to another like Anki. Please prioritize this, @Phil Gons (Logos)  @Mark Barnes (Logos) .

Is there a way in Logos to automatically export a word list to anki. Doing this manually is tedious

I've added my vote and will only leave these instructions for anyone currently struggling to get word lists into Anki . It's tedious but workable.

    1. Create your word list and Print/Export to Excel
    2. Delete any unnecessary columns so you have a column of lemma and a column of the corresponding definitions
    3. Save the file as Unicode Text (.txt)
    4. Close Excel (you won't be able to open and change the new file while it is still open)
    5. Find that Unicode file and resave it with UTF-8 encoding (see image below)
    6. Manually import into Anki under the File tab.
