Markdown is an incredibly easy and efficient way to format documents without requiring any mouse clicks. Sermon builder formatting is too slow, especially with adding headings since they can only be added from the pull down menu. Markdown would be a wonderful addition.

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing this added. Like you said, very quick to add headings and things in Markdown.
  • I'm definitely onboard. I only write in markdown anymore

I couldn't agree more. I constantly go in and out of using Sermon builder for writing sermons. Many of the features are very helpful to have, but eventually I remember how annoying I find lack of markdown support and go back to something with it.

Also, there is a thread from 2017 with people requesting this feature. Someone from Faithlife responded saying they were looking into it and would update their response in "a couple of weeks," but 4 years later I haven't seen an update.
  • Yes, it would be great to have Markdown. I've been writing sermons in Ulysses for the last 6 years or so, but would love to import my sermons into Logos Sermon Builder if it had Markdown support.

I'd love this and I'd also love a Markdown export functionality.
  • Absolutely this! I use Markdown in Obsidian and so many other apps, it's definitely my go-to way to write any kind of notes or document these days.
  • I discovered Markdown three years ago and now use it for everything I write. I would like for Logos to give me the ability to import my sermons as well as notes and personal documents from Markdown files. I left Word when I discovered Google Docs in 2008. I have since moved transitioned away from Google Docs to Markdown.
