This is absolutely essential and should be supported by the provision of more pre-set collections.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

This is the biggest feature gap with Workflows...Workflows simply aren't useful to me without this long awaited functionality.

I can't believe this hasn't been added yet. It was originally requested back in 2018... https://community.logos.com/forums/t/174492.aspx
  • I'm really disappointed that Workflows haven't been further fleshed out. SO much potential, and I would LOVE to actually use them, but as they stand they're essentially worthless to me. Please, let's throw some fresh energy at them!

Until this and other workflow features are implemented they remain mostly useless.
  • Adding the ability to use collections within workflows would greatly enhance the functionality and our ability to use workflows.  PLEASE ADD THIS FUNCTION ASAP!!

I agree. I would love to have a "background and context" set of commentary resources earlier in my sermon prep process, and then exegetical and pastoral commentaries at various later stages as well. Collections could make this happen!

I completely agree, but not just commentaries, encyclopedias and dictionaries as well. I am trying to created a custom bible reference workflow, but can't actually add any bible references from my library I want to use.
  • I would love this feature. I am with the other commenters that we want/need this for ALL the sections. I want to be able to link to a specific Bible Translation at times...not just my "top". Beyond that I want to be able to use custom collections & rules for what resources pop up at each step to consult.
  • Yes please!  This seems like an obvious feature that the Workflow should support.
