Support videos with alpha channel

It would be great if there was support for videos with alpha transparency support.

Use cases for this would be:

- Animated custom transition to video elements over top of live camera video when using the NDI feed in something like OBS

- Creating custom animated transitions between slide elements.

I'm not sure what formats to support would be best, but looking to support easy export from standard video editing programs: DaVinci Resolve, Adobe AfterEffects, etc.

ProRes 4444 is a codec from Apple that is common for these. I too would like to hear from people with experience with alpha channel on Windows.

Can't use ProRes 4444 on Windows machines. in Windows Davinci Resolve can render alpha channel in GoPro Cineform RGB 16-bit, or DNxHD.
