Would love to see a sleep timer for audio books. I have this feature on library apps and podcasts on my iPhone And find it very helpful. To listen to audio books now, one must stop it manually. It would be great to be able set it to play for 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes, etc., and automatically stop playing.

I agree, it would also be nice if you could have the option to stop at the end of a selected chapter or book.

Hey, I know this may sound a little entitled but anyway.....I love listening to the audio Bible on your app it's frankly perfect. However I would love to see a sleep timer function so if hypertheticly someone fell asleep they could set it so it didn't finish the entire book. I know some podcast apps have this feature where it turns off after a set time limit.

    Thanks for all you do.
    Sincerely, Hamish Greenway

Adding my support for this! It would be a great feature that many other audio platforms have, such as Spotify, iTunes, and every podcast app out there. Even SermonAudio has a modified version of this.

With logos able to generate system audio for almost every resource now, not just the bible, a more comprehensive audio player with this feature would be greatly appreciated.

Additionally , not just helpful for those listening to the bible out bed. But being able to have audio stop after a certain time has elapsed is very helpful for time management while studying/reading in general.

Most of the time, I listen to audiobooks when I am drifting off to sleep. However, without a sleep button on Logos, the book will play all night and I won’t be able by I find my place very well.

This be handy as I'm dyslexic I listen to books before bed and if I could set it to sleep and it wouldn't play all night.
  • All the serious audiobook apps have one and to me it is a glaring omission in Logos. I would be more interested in buying audio content from Logos if they had this feature.

A lot of people use a separate timer when doing a reading plan, such as 30mins per day. A countdown timer or cumulative timer for each 24hr period would be handy.
  • Is there a reason why logos doesn't have a sleep timer on the audiobook player? For the price of the software and the cost to build a library this should be included.  I like to listen to audiobooks at night this just might persuade me to buy my audiobooks elsewhere.

Would it be possible to add a timer (called 'sleep timer' on the Christianaudio app ) which allows the listener to determine the time an audiobook runs? This is a helpful feature when listening to audiobooks at night time as it prohibits the book running for hours without a person really listening as they are asleep :) The timer could include 5 minute segments or any other option would be welcome. Thank you. Gabriele

I would like to have the following functions:
    1. end of the chapter --> repeat the chapter
    2. end of chapter --> playback stops automatically.
    3. timer --> set how many minutes the audio runs until the player stops automatically. (I would find this particularly good for listening to the Bible while falling asleep).
  • Lack of this feature stops me buying more audiobooks on Logos.
