Volume control

Has there been any thought on splitting up the volume control for individual service items that have audio? For instance, I have pre service music that should be quiet. I have a countdown and worship intro that should be a little louder. I have worship pads as background for my congregational hymns that needs to be soft, but I also have an instrumental track at one point that needs to be "main" music. I know my sound person can do this and adjust each one as they come, but it would be easier if I could have that pre-done.

  • Yes! having volume levels that 'stick' to each service item is very much needed. If Proclaim wants users to use it's audio playback feature, we need to be able to set volumes for each items to fit the needs of the various media we use. Would love to see this feature added soon. Thank for all you guys do!
  • We do not have a person operating the computer for Proclaim, therefore we set the volume at the beginning of the mass/service.  Some songs are recorded at different volumes.  A volume control per item would help but maybe a volume control in the app, so that when operating the app user can turn the song volume up or down as needed.
  • Yes!  I am currently working on a children's Christmas musical.  All the videos are at a great volume.  All the audio added on content items are much lower in volume.  I guess I'll have to pull each video down to try to equalize it.  It's hard to believe that something that would seemingly not be a difficult task, like individual volume per entry, hasn't been done yet.  We love Proclaim, but using it with multimedia files still feels like I'm stuck back at MediaShout versions from over 10 years ago.
