Why Catholic Bibles Are Bigger

Gary Michuta's Why Catholic Bibles Are Bigger is generally an easy read skim over the same materials than many more academic books cover. It cover a broad swath of material in a average parishioner interest level way. So why do I suggest it? Because it is the only book that I know of which doesn't stop before the start of the 2nd millenia of Christianity. Rather, it traces the canon up to circa 1915 ... it is this comprehensive approach that makes the book a requirement for Logos. And yes, I am turning a blind eye to the sad fact that it is only Western in its approach.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
