Sort search results by original publication date

Please allow us to sort (and filter) search results in chronological order by their original publication date from either newest to oldest or oldest to newest.

    Particular use for this would be to see how a word has changed meaning or use over time. being able to sort by publishing date would allow someone to work sequentially through their library from oldest to newest.

    To clarify, which original publication date should they use? I think for this to work properly the date the original publishing co. used not the Faithlife publishing date must be used.

    This would be helpful, to see what is being mentioned and supported in the most recent publications. And yes, it would need to be sort-able by the original publisher's publication date.
