Add Bible Book, Chapter, Verse selector to Locator Bar for Navigation

Please Add Bible Book, Chapter, Verse selector menu to Locator bar, which matches mobile app (similar to WordSearch Bible Navigation menu)

That is very good, I like the Bible Works method of pop ups for Book, Chapter and verse. That could be put up on the top bar so that it does not infringe on the text part of the window. See attached images

The 3 tap method I'm referring to is quite simple.

The first click opens a drop down selection box with the 66 books of the Bible.

From there you navigate to any verse in the Bible in 3 taps.

First click selects the book .... Second click selects the chapter .... Third click selects the verse.

You select the book... the chapter... the verse.

In approximately 5 seconds you can move from wherever you are to any other place in the Bible.

Very easy to do and get used to.

And to be honest... since most people using other Bible apps and software are already using this method... it will make their migration to Logos much easier with a more familiar and user friendly method of navigation.

Every time I try to use Logos and give it another shot... for some lesson I'm putting together... The ease of use in verse selection found in all of the other Bible software programs I use... brings me back to them.

From a marketing stand point alone... being thought of as the most.. "NOT USER FRIENDLY" Bible software out there should get the job done I would think.

Come on guys... This isn't Rocket Science!

I absolutely love the Logos Book, Chapter, Verse search feature… found only in the mobile app. Sadly, it is not available in the Desktop app. The good news, it’s appears the code already exists! I’m sure it’s not a one-to-one code, but the concept has been deployed!

I greatly dislike this idea if it is taking the place of a simple search tool to type in a text and search for it and find it. I really dislike the way this works on mobile and I can’t imagine trying to do Bible study using this method. It is extremely slow.

Adding this to desktop could be OK but please don’t remove the ability to type in references. Generally, on desktop with a keyboard it is as easy to type as to hunt around selecting the options

My keyboard technique is "hunt-and-peck". This means that for me, using the keyboard to navigate book, chapter, and verse is always slow and error prone. Because I must use this interface so often, it is near the top of my list of things I wish Logos would change. It would really not be that hard to add a little button to pop up a window like the mobile app. This way users who like to type are not impacted, and the rest of us can be more productive.
