What I'm Requesting
How about a video overviewing what post-L10 features the Legacy Fallback License will provide, similar to the new release videos for the numbered Logos versions?
Summary of Why I'm Requesting This
I think it could help customers:
- find new features they'd want to use
- actually use the features
- understand why they'd want to continue subscribing
Details of Why I'm Requesting This
A list of feature names might look impressive; but to be convinced, what I'm seeking is to understand/visualize why the LFL'd features are great.
Now, it would be particularly helpful to have an overview/birds-eye video, which could act like a Table of Contents: something I could quickly digest. Then for desert, I could watch a more detailed video about a particular feature that grabbed my interest. On occasion, I've started one of the What's New videos (e.g. 2026-03), but an hour? Wow. TL;DW. Moreover, in that video, @Mark Barnes states that people are "most excited" about an AI feature, which the LFL will exclude.
Personal context (flavor text: skip if short on time)
To me, search is what makes Logos great. I've been using Logos for over a decade, and I still don't get why I'd want to bother opening the Factbook. Hmm, maybe that's because I'm a programmer, so writing queries seems natural to me. Huh, hadn't thought of that before. Anyhow, I'd upgrade whenever you guys released some amazing new class of metadata that I could search; like wow, I can search for verses where Peter is speaking to Jesus, even if those verses don't contain their names‽ Yeah, that pair of features may be old news at this point, but I don't care: they're still major-league cool! : ) And btw, there was a video for that (or at least for the first half of it).
