User Created Timeline Events/Data

Provide users the ability to add events/data to the timeline tool. This would be very beneficial for situations when users want to add events to the timeline which are not already included as part of any of the timeline data sets. It would also be beneficial for situations when users want to add dates (based on their own research) for events which differ from the dates listed in the timeline tool currently.

    I agree. It would be quite helpful to have a "Custom Timeline Data Set" giving the user the ability to add data points to the timeline along with tags for the filter categories. Then allow the user to include or exclude the custom data set along with the standard filter categories.

    I would like to see a feature added to make notes that are anchored to the timeline by date, which would then be visible on the timeline. Or better yet the option to add items to the timeline that could show along with the other entries.
    For instance, suppose I come across a historical fact regarding an event in church history that corresponds with a specific calendar day that I would like to reference and see in my timeline in connection with other events during that same time period.
    Or perhaps on a personal level, I may want to put significant dates of family events (birthdays, anniversaries, other genealogical information that people often would put in a family Bible) to have as a record or journal anchored to a day. Or important dates from the more recent history of one's own church denominational history, etc.

    I would like to click on an event in timeline and not only search my library but also use my browser to search the internet for the event.

    I would love to have the option to create a Timeline Document to add your personal events/entities for a specific bible study.

    Oh yes!  My thoughts prior to L10's timeline update were
    User defined eras under the fit menu 
    User defined subjects and types 
    Search box (not just filter) [THANKS FOR INCLUDING IS IN THE L10 TIMELINE] 
    Create timeline entries from personal book , notes , clippings , etc. with special timeline tags 
    I know the new Logos 10 timeline has been updated extensively , but I don't think most of my suggestions made the cut  . Search was added. I think it's really important to be able to customize the timeline with the results of your own study rather than just use it to refer to others' research.

    this would be an great option, even a nice option to have the timeline in dutch.
