I would like to request a bulk export feature in Sermon Manager / Sermon Builder that allows users to export all sermons as Markdown (.md) files.
Markdown is a simple, human-readable flat-file format that is widely supported and not tied to any single platform. Having the ability to bulk export sermon content to Markdown would provide a practical way to future-proof sermon archives, improve backup portability, and ensure long-term access to years of sermon preparation work.
For pastors who have invested significant time building sermon libraries in Logos, data portability matters. While proprietary formats may work well within the Logos ecosystem, flat-file exports offer peace of mind because they remain accessible even if workflows, software, or platforms change in the future.
An ideal implementation would include:
- Bulk export of all sermons (or selected sermons)
- Markdown (.md) as an export option
- Preservation of sermon structure (titles, headings, Scripture references, notes, etc.)
- Export to a user-selected folder with one sermon per file
This would be an incredibly valuable archival and backup feature for long-term users of Logos.
Would anyone else find this useful?
