Timed transitions for songs with audio tracks

Songs with audio backing tracks can have slide transitions at fixed, pre-set intervals. Can a feature be built in to Proclaim to allow this? E.g. Slide 1 triggers the audio track. Slide 2 comes on after 15 seconds. Slide 3 comes on after 28 seconds (from the start). Slide 4 after 45 seconds etc.
The user would program 0, 15, 28, 45, 62 etc. To indicate the slide changes for this particular song.
What are the advantages of this? The Proclaim operator can set up a smooth set of slides for each song, and leave the song with audio running for the duration of each song, without manual intervention. This would give the operator the comfort that the show will run smoothly, and distractions will not matter. For longer songs, the operator could even take a comfort break knowing the song will autorun whilst he or she is away.

  • Agree 100%. Our church is in a different, but similar spot. We're a plant and don't have a worship leader right now and use videos. So, having timed song transitions with audio tracks would be amazing.

We've got a temporary workaround that is useful for backing tracks. We set up a song, go live on a local PC, and use OBS software to make a video recording of the live screen. Save the captured video, and it can then be inserted as a video into the presentation.
  • I've been wanting to have Multitrack/Backtrack Software (like iSingWorship/WorshipSong Band/Band-In-Hand etc.) incorporated with Proclaim.

Having either this option of timers or Third Party Software incorporation [OR BOTH - EVEN BETTER] will be a huge game changer in the presentation software industry and will definitely sway me to continue using Proclaim above FREE software like VideoPsalm!

    Please do this!!!
  • The timers can even be linked to the arrangement function where you set the timer according to where the section starts and where the different brakes in that section is ( should you use a 1 line or 2 line for displaying verses for instance.

    e.g. |Verse 1[0, 0:12.236; Verse 2[1:15.725, 1:39.161; Chorus[2:17.567, 2:59.004, 3:30.147]|

Another option is to have a separate window/field where you record the timings as you would with PowerPoint. You can then have different arrangements and just record the timings for that particular arrangement.
  • @Barry van der Merwe  you should be able to do this with Midi cues.
