Bulk apply signals

It would be helpful to be able to bulk apply signals to songs/slides.
It seems that adding a separate lighting cue and selecting "fire for each slide" has different functionality depending on where it is in the service (or maybe it's more about what is underneath that cue). I expected this would fire for each slide until the next cue, but that is unfortunately not what it usually does.
To work around that limitation, I tried to add the signal directly to the songs, but when bulk selecting songs (or slides) and adding a signal, it only applies to the last item selected instead of the whole group of selected items.
This looks more like a bug than a feature request.
