Highlight active Bible verse

Logos should consider a setting so that as you are reading the Bible the current verse is highlighted by clicking on that verse. Then as you use your arrow keys or mouse to navigate through the verses they will highlight as well. Wordsearch offered this function which was very helpful with a large monitor.

Please add the Current Verse Highlight Color to help keep your place while reading. This option has been in Quickverse and Wordsearch for years. In Wordsearch it is located in Program Settings, Books and Windows with the option to pick the color.

With this, you would have to find the correct page all the time. I suggested in another message , a type of sticky note that would mark the page. It could also be seen from the library as a corner sticking out of the book, marking which books you are reading and where you are in the book.0

I can see that. I have been using Wordsearch for years and have multiple desktops within the application. They open up to the last page I was reading so I have no issues locating the correct page. The current verse highlight color helps me to easily locate my place on the page while reading. I'm not yet familiar enough with Logos to set up multiple desktops or multiple reading plans. It probably does have that feature. Its difficult for me to move over to Logos without having the current verse highlight color. For me, I guess its all about being how I am use to reading on a computer. Thanks for your comment!0

In my transition from "Word search" to Logos, Logos Support this month, I was looking in Logos software for
a similar "handy" feature WordSearch provides. A "Bible Verse Highlight Tracker" by default. While your
Highlight features are superior to many, I still found the need to be able to "Single Click" any bible verse
and be able to distinguish it from the verse before and after it, because it's highlighted by some "Mild"
color difference. For example, in any Bible, if the background color is a "dark gray" and the text white,
then a "single click" on any verse changes the entire verse maybe to a "Lighter Gray" or something else. Then if
you need to use your "Arrow down" key to scroll through the verses, the next verse is highlighted as you go
down or up. It makes it easier to find and stop at a verse you're looking for in the chapter, and also, no additional
steps are required if you just want to walk away from your PC and come back. It would be obvious which bible verse you
were focused on. I hope that helps.

I used this in Wordsearch all the time. I would love to see it.
