This may sound snarky but I am serious. Have you looked at how much data we currently have based on topic/theme/passage? You need to be extremely careful in how you add even more data to this complex. It would be very easy to look like (a) you're trying again because you messed up the first time, (b) that you think your users are too stupid to be able to select a passage among those offered them, or (c) that you are doing something easy and familiar rather than tackling some of the hard problems needed to truly expand Logos.
However, if you have a clear set of themes that meet a need not currently covered, a clear set of guidelines for selecting passages, and some serious thought into what is required for a passage to be oral/aural, then you could make the data set useful.
In addition, you might run through some hymnals and look at passages/collations useful for responsorial readings in a thematic context.Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

We could do some special things in this section, like give a heavy emphasis on definition, pronunciation, and oration. We could help the reader know what they're reading, how to pronounce the words, and even give some suggestions on how to read publicly for maximum clarity and impact.0 -
