Review BK information (Biblical person, place, thing, event) in light of current requirements

When the Bible Knowledge data was first collected, it was viewed primarily as a lookup/search function in the context of the passage. It revolutionized the Logos search. However, it now serves functions like providing information cards for Canvas where it is necessary to make distinctions previously distinguished only in the text. For example, in communication diagrams or character interaction diagrams, it is necessary to distinguish between woman 1 and woman 2 in 2 Kings 6:26-31. Or that the group name "circumcision" is a figurative (referred to as) name rather than a generic or proper name (Phil 3:3). It would also be worth considering capturing additional information such as people with explicit name changes, multiple proper names, language of the name (e.g. Persian names), people whose physical gender/proper name gender are in conflict, . . . Note this additional information might well be in the form of "All the <event/feature> in the Bible" rather than direct additions to the Bible Knowledgebase data.
Similarly, the Biblical Events were seen as primarily marking out the events in the economy of salvation/plot line of the entire Bible. Therefore, it left out many events of interest to those doing narrative studies of the Bible. It should be reviewed and an additional layer of granularity added to it, for it to be fully functional in the current Logos environment.
In short, while there has been an accumulation of data tied to the BK entities over the years, the entities themselves have not be revisited in terms of completeness and granularity. It is past time to do so.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
