The Vocabulary of the Greek Testament (Moulton & Milligan) question
Hello,
I am wondering how any of you find "The vocabulary of the Greek Testament" in relation to BDAG?
I use BDAG and TDNT extensively with LOUW-NIDA, I am curious if this resource would fill any holes or compliment BDAG. Does BDAG link directly to M-M if you have the resource?
Any input would be appreciated.

I have both and like MM very much. It is insightful on the papyri. Naturally BDAG is much more thorough.

No! It is very annoying. It just says: "M-M = JMoulton/GMilligan, Vocabulary of Greek Testament—Lists 4, 6".

However, if you bring M-M up on your resource list, prioritize it, then you can right click any greek word in BDAG (that has an M-M entry) and a link to the entry in M-M is just a click away!

I used to be a BDAG fan but after I combined Moultin-Milligan with Liddell Scott (keylinked together), life is just SO GOOD. I think the various choices have a lot to do with what arena of greek usage you want to know about, for a word.I concentrate on the world of the greek OT relative to common usage among the NT participants.

That works. When using M-M I just link it with BDAG so that they scroll together.

While BDAG does reference M-M, M-M is still valuable in that there are quotations which are not specifically quoted in BDAG. I find that helpful since it isn't wise to simply take a head count of who might support a particular understanding. Seeing the actual quotations is quite helpful.
