Chromebook Users: Limit Android App Development in Favor of the Web App?

If you are a user in the Google/Android ecosystem you are likely using a Chromebook instead of an Android tablet (there are not many). The Logos Android App is not really usable on a Chromebook due to scaling, but the web is (unless you want to fix those scaling issues). I believe resources should be shifted from the Android app to the Web app as many more users would be served including Chromebook users. I don't foresee most serious Bible Study users trying to do it on their phone which is the only place the Android app is useful.

  • Both need development. I have an android phone but never use the web app because I have the desktop version. My wife uses the web app on her Chromebook. I'd like to see the android app have the same features as the iphone/ipad app, as it seems they are not quite equal.

I use the Android version primarily on my ereader (Onyx Boox, running on Android), to read books.
I have the Android version also on my phone and I use it occasionally to search the Bible or a dictionary, in situations where I have no computer.
I use the Web app version on my Chromebook, for straightforward Bible study or reading, in situations where I cannot use my windows version.
I have the Windows version for advanced Bible study and everything else.
I find them all usefull. But further development of the web app would be my top priority.
