Protect Notes/Notebooks From Accidental Deletion

I'd like a way to prevent accidental deletion of a note since there's no way to undo.
Here are a few ways to implement some protection:
1. Allow a protection option to lock a note from being deleted. This could be a key icon in next "last saved" icon so users can toggle the protection on and off. On my camera I'm able to mark photos using a key button so that the photo doesn't get accidentally deleted even if the memory card is formatted.
2. Implement a slide to delete button instead of a simple click.
3. Provide a setting to enable/disable a prompt when the delete button is clicked to insure the user meant to delete the note.
4. Provide an option to password protect notes or notebooks which also prevents deletion with a prompt to confirm the user's action.
