Menu: Add a Sync button to the main navigation bar

Is there any way you could somehow implement a data sync on the dashboard for the mobile application? It doesn't seem to update when I open it, so I usually have to go into the Bible somewhere and hit sync data at the very bottom of the list and then return to my homepage to pick up my reading plans which are now updated.

It would be super handy if the data sync could somehow be implemented right on the front page as it's opened.
