Auto update of Layout

Dear Logos,
I am a regular user of the Logos Bible Software.
Is there any way that the Layout function can be automatically updated without me going to the Layout icon to do an “update active”?
This is because every time I set up a new layout, open all my commentaries for my studies, and then close my computer without updating the “update active” … all the new layout is not saved! The next time I open my Logos, I have to redo this process again.
This is causing unnecessary inconvenience for us.
I hope Logos Bible Software can do an upgrade to have a function for an automatic update of the layout.

In program settings you can change your start up:
--> program settings --> At Startup Open to
At Startup Open to
Choose what happens when Logos/Verbum starts.
• Home — opens the Home Page. This is the most common setting.
• Blank layout — opens nothing.
• Most recent layout – any — opens the last configuration of open panels from any of the devices logged into the user’s Faithlife account.
• Most recent layout – local — opens the last configuration of open panels on the current device. A list of saved layouts appears below this options. Select one of these to start Verbum with that configuration of open panels.0 -
Joseph's answer is great. For me, I got in the habit of hitting Ctrl-Alt-L before I close the program. Hotkey saves changes to the current active saved layout.0
