Why does Logos sell false doctrine?

My idea is simply that Logos should get rid of the false doctrine on its website as well as other resources that don't have anything to do with Bible study.
Examples: Joyce Meyer books, Lord of the Rings, Friendship by Dude perfect etc.
What do these have to do with Bible study.
If Logos does not get rid of these I might have to purchase my resources elsewhere.
Ephesians 5:11 take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

The Lord of the Rings isn't actually on Logos much to my disappointment :( If you would like to vote for it to be on logos you can do so here - https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-book-requests/posts/the-lord-of-the-rings-trilogy
But I do understand your concerns. False doctrine is serious, and the idea that others could be swayed into false teaching and abandon the true faith is a real concern that we should take seriously. Moreover, I hate the idea of supporting false teachers by purchasing their products. However, there are couple of factors we need to consider.
Firstly, its appropriate to have resources by those outside our denomination or even outside our faith so that we can engage with them and refute them. I own a Quran, a Book of Mormon, and a New World Translation not because I desire to support those groups, but the exact opposite. I want to show them the true gospel, but I often need to engage with their beliefs to do so. Paul does this in Acts 17. When he visits Athens, his gospel presentation is given in light of the various idols he found there. He even quotes the Greek poet Aratus! We should do the same as Paul. We have these resources not because we think they are valuable for our own bible study etc, but because we need to honestly and rightly engage with them as we share the gospel.
Second, I think its appropriate because Logos isn't used exclusively for bible study, but as a digital library. Many people, myself included, will use Logos simply to read various books. Just like my physical book collection at home, which doesn't only contain books related to bible study, it also contains some fiction as well. Same with logos, its not exclusively a bible study tool but a tool to manage one's digital library, and sometimes people like to read books that aren't just about bible study. I hope that helps!Current MDiv student at Trinity Theological College - Perth, Western Australia

I think this request is impossible to fulfill to the satisfaction of all Logos users. Some Christians don't consider Joyce Meyer's books to be "false doctrine", some consider Catholic beliefs to be "false doctrine", some Christians consider Calvinist beliefs to be "false doctrine".
If you don't like a book that's included in your collection, just hide it by going to "Program Settings", scroll to the very bottom to "Hidden Books", then drag the book you don't want to see there.0
