Content templates and consistent keyboard input

I would like to tailor a standard content template with a heading and a body (like a Powerpoint slide). Currently, a content slide simply has a body and it takes extra keystrokes to add a header. On the other hand, announcements have a template but it has many more fields.

Also, it would be nice if there was a consistent keyboard interface to the various components so that you could use a keyboard for most input. Thus, you can add a song (Cmd-S), then type the song name; you can add a Bible text (Cmd-B), then type the reference; you can add an announcement (Cmd-N), then start typing in the first field, tab to next field, etc. However, you can't do this with Content (Cmd-C) because you need to select the field with the mouse before you can start typing the content. (It would be much nicer to be able to just type a tab to get into editing the content body.)
