Copying and Comparing a Selected Verse

Hi. I used to be able to highlight a verse and have the option to compare and open text comparison, which was super helpful. I don't see that option anymore.

Also, when I select a verse, choose Copy, and then paste it - it no longer pasted the Bible reference (book, chapter, and verse), which seems to be quite unhelpful.

@Pete Witt  Regarding the "Compare" button, when you scroll to the left on the actions row, do you see the grey "Compare" button? Please send a screenshot if you don't see it.

Regarding "Copy", what is it pasting now (screenshot would be best)? Additionally, please try this: Click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner, scroll all the way down and tap "Settings", tap " Citation settings" and make sure both options are toggled on.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi Ali. The Compare button is now appearing.

Here is a screenshot of what is pasting when I copy a verse and paste it.  I believe the boxes you mentioned are selected.
  • @Ali Pope  @Pete Witt   per @Joe McCune (Faithlife)   the citations setting should be toggled OFF. I did that and the expected functionality is restored. My guess is a recent software update may have set them on by default whereas previously they were set to off. Thanks Joe!
