Allow formatting without selecting text in Sermon Builder

In Sermon Builder (and Notes), it would be nice if Ctrl/Cmd + B could make a word bold as long as the cursor is in the word without having to select the word. Same for other formatting like italics, underline, etc. This is a convenient feature of Microsoft Word that would be nice to have in Sermon Builder.
