Bible Defaults Not Updating

Howdy, on the Proclaim help center, it states that adding a bible reference should automatically default to "the same styling and translation as the most recently-added Bible service item."
However, there is no setting option to establish a default bible, and while we consistently use the NIV when the option is given (like with Bible Passage service items), every embedded [[Bible passage]] defaults to NKJV. I have to manually adjust the style for every bible reference, which is unfortunate.
We did not have this problem before; it seems related to the latest update.
