Set "Starting From" in Numbered Lists (Notes)

Sometimes in my numbered lists, I like to take a break from the list to write some thoughts, and then continue the list afterward. It is not possible right now because next section of list always starts at #1 again. In addition, some notes are my translation of the original language. So I'd like the list to correspond to verse numbers, and if I'm starting mid-chapter in the note, then I do not have a way to indicate that in the numbered list since it again starts with #1.

Can you give us the ability to set the starting number for numbered lists?
