Open/Libreoffice Smart Tags Extension

I know that Microsoft Office is hit and miss with the Smart Tags. Announced as deprecated, but seem to still work years later.

Libreoffice supports Smart Tags, but requires an extension to be written.

This could breath new life into an excellent feature and deliver function to the Open Source users.
