IIRC in Logos 7 if one clicked on the Saints entry in the ribbon on the Home Page, you were taken to a minimal page SUGGESTION: Saints layout from the Home Page Side Bar

I would suggest that if one really wanted to support Saints from the perspective of sermons, planning worship, and personal devotions, there should be a Saints Layout that contains:

-Basic data
---Entry from Saints resource - note this provides several useful links
---Factbook for the Saint - again its links especially those for Writings are useful
---Entry from highest priority hagiography
-For worship
---lectionary reading for saint, if there is one
---missal entry for saint, if there is one
-For private devotions
---picture of saint
---prayer associated with saint
---chaplet associated with saint

Note with minor modifications as to where to find prayers and readings, this pattern works for Anglicans and Lutherans as well with little information in the private devotions section.

How does this fit into Logos/Verbum supporting ministries? It is the last piece required to support sermon planning and worship planning in liturgical churches, and a much smaller piece than the lectionary support for daily and seasonal preaching and planning.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
