Make Note Syncing a Legacy Feature

I have been a user of Logos since 2008. I have been very disappointed with how the average customer is being ignored with how frequently and required updates are getting. But I have gone alone with it, so long as the main features I, as an average user, continued to work--namely, being able to open electronic books and take notes and have the notes sync between my devices.
Today, I noticed that notes I had had taken a few days ago on my iPhone's app had not sync'd with my desktop. Upon contacting customer support, I was informed that I needed to upgrade to Logos 9. "Here we go again," I thought. But it was worse than I thought.
Apparently Logos 9 requires Windows 10 or higher. Due to specialized software, I am unable to upgrade from Windows 8.1. As such, the one feature that has made Logos my software of choice--syncing between devices--is no longer available to me.
As it is a simple mechanism to implement and use, and since it was already being done many versions ago, I can't imagine why Logos would require an upgrade in order to keep a feature like that.
As such, as an average user--representing how many/most of the users of Logos use their system--I would like to suggest that Logos/Faithlife make Note Syncing a Legacy Feature that will work across all their versions, since it already exists in the early days of the software itself. That way, for the average person who doesn't need the newest bells and whistles can still continue to use the software purchased from Logos and keep buying new books to take notes on, be that on a mobile device or a PC, and have those notes continue to sync.
