Improvements to Sermon-workflow

The sermons in my sermon manager are too 'dumb' to be helpful in a study-workflow.
So… I add a couple of sermons in advance, and link the Bible passages to them (from my lectionary). Then, when time comes to do my preparations I can't use the work I did 'beforehand'.
I can't _do_ anything with the passages, I have to re-enter them manually in all tools (because I can't even select them in the Sermon Manager or Builder).
Also… I have these placeholder titles (Untitled Sermon (X)).
I'd like the titles to eventually capture the topic of my sermon, on which I have yet to start my studies. But when I add a first note to the Sermon Notebook the Notebook gets the same placeholder-title, which doesn't update when I update the title of my sermon eventually.
Perhaps my workflow is unexpected, but I'd like to have it more prepared for:
- What's on schedule for the coming week?
- Let's start my studies on the linked passages (for example, by opening a Facebook report for the linked passages, or open a Sermon Starter Guide on them).
- Open some documents, that are linked on the sermon (a Clipping Document is something I also like to use for this), and give me a Note-file for some initial notes on a first 'lookaround', that isn't put into a "Untitled Sermon (X)"-notebook.
I hope I'm making sense.
