Consistency in the commands Open/Show and the parameter To/For

In testing various tools for my own documentation (and education) I have been startled by inconsistency in the commands e.g. that the For parameter did not work for Text Comparison does not work or that Show did not work for Canvas. Please go through the Documents, Guides and Tools and ensure that the commands and parameters are absolutely consistent. Inconsistency is the archenemy of intuitive UI.

Run multiple layouts simultaneously
Another user, Donovan, mentioned he would like Logos to support multiple layouts in the desktop app. So would I. I can't present stuff and run Logos at the same time unless I use the web app, which doesn't have the same functionality. Allow at least two simultaneous layouts please!
