Earlier you "broke" the word search, requiring multiple taps to do what one did previously. Now you're doing the same to search. Why? Does whoever at Logos that is in charge of approving these changes actually use the app? Bring back the search button at bottom in the middle on mobile! One tap switched to the tab that had the search tool open. Now I need to tap the tabs button and then scroll to the tab that has the search tool open.

Once again, multiple taps to do what one previously did! WHY?!

@Daryl Weaver  –  I'm sorry you dislike the removal of the search button. Search is accessible from the main drawer with two taps. When you're reading a book, you can also get to search with a single tap at the top of the screen.

As to your question of "why?". Search was the least used button on the main navigation, and the new Bible button is already being used about 50% more frequently than the search button was.

We appreciate your feedback, though, and will continue to look for ways in which we can ensure the app works for everyone.

I apologize for "yelling" in my subject line. However I would be curious to know if that 50% more holds over time. I would think that after any update a new button is going to be tapped on by everyone to see what it does and it is only after some time that the analytics become meaningful.

Reguardless, why is it so hard when you change something to add an item in "settings" that says "Show search button in navigation"?

Seriously, why not give the user the option instead of forcing everyone to use it the way some "committee" at Logo's thought best?

As for your suggestion to use the search tool at the top:
    1. It's at the top, not nearly as convient as at the bottom.
    2. It opens a new search tab for every search. The old way, pressing the search button simply switched to the already opened search tab.

So, the new way is less convient and results in much more clutter.

    Thanks for you consideration.
