Add ability to create links in the note field of a guide

When I write my notes in a guide, I'm unable to use the CMD+K shortcut to add a hyperlink. I like to add hyperlinks so that I don't have to fill my note with a full Bible reference. For example, I'll make a comment about something in "v 8" rather than in "Psalm 86:8". Then I'll select the "8" and hyperlink it to Ps 86:8. In order to do this right now, I have to have my Notes panel open, find the note that the Guide just created, and then add the hyperlink there.
