Table of Contents Dropdowns

The Table of Contents dropdown buttons are hard to use. If I click slightly off from the icon, it instead jumps to the parent section, rather than opening/closing the dropdowns. I just want a little more room to click on, since I use the table of contents all the time while navigating monographs.
