Reading Plans: Bible Text Only filter applied on resource-level

I discovered the Visual Filter support for Bible text only, but it applies globally.
The primary place I want to use it is when I'm following a reading plan. I want all of the text markup out of the way, so I can focus on just reading. If we can't get more specific Visual Filters, it would be great to at least expose an option to specify that for a given reading plan it will be in Bible text only.
