Blinking cursor in inactive window

Could you make the cursor NOT blink in an inactive window? So often I start typing, thinking that is my active window, because the cursor is blinking. I sometimes don't realize I'm typing in another program usually until I've typed quite a bit. Then I have to find where I was actually typing and determine if I overwrote anything, cut and paste into Logos, etc. I realize it's a minor inconvenience, but it would actually greately improve my workflow, especially when I'm in the "zone."
