Allow Resource "Streaming" on Desktop

On Logos Mobile there are resources that are available for offline use but most of the resources are "streamed" to the device as you use them. Why can this not also be done on the Desktop App? This would solve the problem of ever-growing libraries and smaller hard drives in laptops.
