Tapping on android app

Can you make the "tap to show controls" an option. Many of us older folk have unsteady fingers to select and the controls come and go. To see the controls all the time suits me, and perhaps others when using a larger tablet. For your consideration, thanks.

@anthony ward  You can tap the top toolbar when minimized and it will show all of the controls.
