photograph transfer to files

I do not know how to move from an object like my student ID card, to a photograph file, to your application process.

This is the feedback site for suggestions to be prioritized by the users - specifically suggestions for the desktop application. I assume you are talking about the application for the academic discount at https://classic.logos.com/account/academic/student?embed=true. Do you have an image of your student id available on your computer? If so, did you try to browse to it and load? If not, did you try to follow the help feature below the browse? If neither of those helped, go to the forums and ask for help there. I'm sure someone who has been through the process can help you there.
