ability to annotate passage and other guides

In my research, I will often use the same passage guide a number of times. I need a way to note which resources I have already looked at and even whether I should use them again. I have hundreds of commentaries in my passage guide, and sometimes I need to go through dozens at a time looking for answers. There should then be an option to clear all notes or this particular search notes. I may use the same passage guide at different times for different reasons. So some notes should be able to be kept and others removable.
