Simultaneous users maintenance capability?

We may soon have multiple people editing presentations. Is it possible to edit the same presentation from different locations — at the same time? Unfortunately, I'm unable to test this on my own. 🤨

Could not find this in the proclaim discussions and the support proclaim site.

Yes, this is possible. It's best if two people don't edit the same slide at the same time, but it's no problem for two users to edit different parts of the presentation at different times.

I would add that regular syncing is needed so that the old on one presentation doesn't overwrite the new on the other.

Possible but fraught with difficulties is my experience.

@Mike Binks it really should only be bad if you are changing the same service item like Mark mentioned.

Proclaim does auto conflict resolution and editing different parts, adding and removing items, etc. all should work.

We also sync every time you switch items, so when you click on a different item, it will then sync, and you’ll see all the new items the other person added.

It’s pretty common for me to edit a live service from one computer while our volunteer is running the service. It’s kinda nice as we don’t have to bother him or try to take the keyboard from him. Granted, in this scenario I’m the only one editing, he is just in preview mode.

Good to hear. Thanks for confirming this is possible.

The Pastor & I are the primary editors working on different sections.

    Thanks again.
