Forum navigation
The old forums had categories such as "desktop, mobile, web app, etc." I cant seem to find these categries anymore… just "English forums" maybe
I am confused? Also, are there posting limits to a thread? like how many posts are limited to it? I cant seem to reply to anything, unless maybe I just am not understanding how to? I like the format and layout of the new forums, but I am a bit confused.

oh Now I can see the post comment section. maybe the threads I Was looking at where closed.
EDIT:
After further inspection I see the comment section is at the VERY bottom of the thread. Can we have that moved to the top? or at least get "reply" button at the top? its a bit painful to have to scroll to the bottom and are forced to read all the comments of the thread. Sorry.0 -

Yes, there is now just one forum for all the different platforms (there are separate ones for beta testing) and the idea is that we use tags to distinguish between platforms.

I see your post tagged with Desktop App and Web App as well as Accessibility. Did you do that?
You do need to make use of Tags as I am looking for these (in the English forum) to relate to the problem being either Desktop or Web (or Mobile). I would not have looked at Accessibility by itself, even though it might be the correct Tag for your query. You can click on Quote to respond to a specific post.

We are exploring an additional option for the REPLY button, yes! Great suggestion. Thank you.

In general I like the new forums. One thing for me that is odd, is that the search box constantly disappears based on how I navigate. I can replicate it at will if Logos would like

Are you speaking of the Search Box on the right side of the Toolbar near the notification bell and User Avatar? If so, on Chrome I haven't seen it disappear.

I haven't on Safari either.

I would like to see the issue that you are having with the search box, @Dave Gifford.

Can we please just get dark mode, this is killing my eye sight

Others have requested dark mode; we've certainly made note of that. Also, I see your request listed elsewhere. Thank you so much, @James Johnson.

@jason stone …your answer illustrates a problem (maybe can't fix, and just handy to note here). Your reference isn't the person's post … it's 'somewhere' on the thread (could be pages away, depending). I assume the software doesn't have a ref# per thread/post, as the old did. (Unable to get the @ to work, if you don't catch it the first round (before editing).

I agree with DMB @Jason Stone (Logos). The @ is glitchy. If one edits or jumps around, the @ often stops working. I can often get it to work again by starting my post over.
Also, I know quoting is being worked on, and I'm excited to see what you are able to come up with.
Finally, am I the only one seeing strange blue ovals as empty tags?

We’ve discussed this elsewhere since launch and have a solution in the works to provide users with the attribution for another member’s response. Thanks!

@Aaron Hamilton, great feedback, as always. The new reply solution should solve the mention issue as well. Also, the empty Q&A Statuses have been reported prior to Thanksgiving but are yet resolved. I'm blaming it on the turkey.

Aaron, I see them , too.
Also, on real long post threads, the bell takes me to within the thread. The bell should take me to the last, say, 3 messages - which are the newbies.

@Jason Stone (Logos) So more than just improving quote functionality, it also includes improved reply functionality? I like the sound of this…
